This lamp creates a cosy corner in our sitting room. It presently shines behind our family crib, reminding us home does not have to be grand to be loving, accepting and intimate, to contain breath taking moments.

From this angle, the baby Jesus is barely visible. Recalling someone who so trusted in his presence, even during life’s dark times, and whose work has resulted in so much shelter for others, this mystery seems appropriate.
