Over 20 years ago, I met Dame Cicely in a brief visit to St Christopher's Hospice when I was a medical student; this was the start of the path which eventually led me to work here at the Institute. Working here is about making a positive difference which touches people's lives and homes.

This picture very much represents 'home' for me; the clock was a gift from my brother, the decorative 'frog' stand came from a shared trip to France, and the candle, box and lamp were also gifts.
