Join us for the Cicely Saunders International Annual Lecture 2026, featuring Professor Barbara Gomes from the University of Coimbra.

Drawing on her international research, Barbara will explore key questions shaping palliative and end-of-life care today, including people’s preferences, priorities and experiences of care, and where people are cared for and die.

Broadcast live from the Cicely Saunders Institute at King’s College London, this free online lecture is open to all interested in improving care for people with serious illness and those close to them.
